Cruise Casino Comp Value Index 2026
This page answers one simple question: How much do you actually need to play to get comped?
Methodology
This index uses GamblersHost trip data, public cruise-casino program patterns, and player-reported outcomes to estimate value bands. It is directional, not a guarantee. ADT and trip theo are not identical on every cruise line, and some programs hide exact player math from independent hosts.
How to read this page: treat the ADT bands as working ranges, use the calculator for a directional estimate, and then submit your play only after you understand which brand and cabin tier is most likely to fit your profile.
2026 ADT Transparency Scorecard
Transparency is scored by how easy it is for an independent host or player to infer value from offers, tier ladders, and public program structure.
| Cruise Line | Typical 2026 comp behavior | Estimated value per $1,000 ADT | Transparency score |
|---|---|---|---|
| Carnival | Discounted and comped interiors on selected sailings; balcony more limited; bounce-back value can be strong. | Low–Moderate | 2/5 — proprietary and hard to verify externally. |
| Royal Caribbean | Good inside-to-oceanview value; balcony possible for stronger or repeat play; Club Royale helps infer value. | Moderate | 3/5 — hosts can often infer ranges from tier points and offers. |
| Celebrity | More premium-leaning cabin outcomes for stronger players; solid value if profile is clean and current. | Moderate–High | 3/5 — clearer tier structure, but still not fully open. |
| NCL | Often strong effective value once perks are included; inside-to-balcony outcomes are common for qualifying players. | High | 3/5 — tier points and offer ladders help, but exact ADT is not fully exposed. |
| MSC | Regular balcony and upgrade potential through match programs and repeat play. | High | 4/5 — easier to infer through published tier behavior and repeat offers. |
| Virgin Voyages | Fewer mass offers but strong premium appeal and high-perceived value if you qualify. | High | 2/5 — less transparent and harder to model precisely. |
| Princess | Good value for disciplined players; offers can be solid but require matching the right sailing. | Moderate | 3/5 — moderate visibility, but not fully transparent. |
| Holland America | Smaller casino audience but potentially strong offers for the right profile. | Moderate | 3/5 — inferable, but not openly documented. |
